South Africa landing page
Privacy Notice
This notice explains what this Shortza landing page does and does not process. The downloaded mobile app may have its own privacy policy, linked below.
Last reviewed: 5 October 2026Scope of this notice
This notice applies to this Shortza South Africa promotional website and its APK installation guide. It does not replace privacy information shown in the downloaded mobile app, an app store listing, or the app-service provider’s policy.
Website information processing
- Accounts
- This website does not create or manage visitor accounts.
- Analytics
- When the landing page or APK guide loads, the Shortza analytics service may record a temporary session identifier, page path, language, screen size, referrer, campaign parameters, visit duration, browser and device information, IP address, approximate country/city, and active-session timestamps. It is used to understand traffic, detect delivery issues, and measure campaign and download performance.
- Advertising pixels
- This website does not load TikTok, Meta/Facebook, Google Analytics, or similar advertising pixels.
- Browser storage
- The analytics service stores a random session identifier in session storage so related events from the same browser session can be associated. On Android in-app browsers, a separate temporary session-storage flag prevents an automatic external-browser download redirect from repeating. These values are not used to create an account profile.
- Hosting and analytics records
- The hosting and analytics service may process ordinary technical request records, such as IP address, requested URL, device/browser data, and the information listed above, to deliver, secure, troubleshoot, and measure the service. Retention and access are controlled by the service operator.
APK downloads and the mobile app
Selecting an APK download sends the browser to the Shortza download proxy. The proxy receives the button name, session and attribution context, and records a download only after the APK has been fully transferred. Your browser, network provider, and device may each apply their own technical processing and privacy controls.
Once the downloaded app is installed or used, its data practices are governed by its app-service provider. The provider policy describes the associated apps, websites, and related services and identifies its controller and contact channel.
Your privacy choices and requests
For a request about the downloaded app, account, or mobile-service data, use the contact path in the app-provider Privacy Policy linked above.
